Teresa Sours is no stranger to pain. Loss began knocking on the door of her heart with the death of her mother. Next, she would face an uncertain pregnancy with her infant son Nathan, his medically –involved life, and his untimely death. Broken and totally undone, Teresa began having flashbacks which would later reveal past sexual abuse. The final blow was cancer—a double mastectomy. In this interview, she talks candidly about her heartbreaking journey of suffering, what she learned, and how Nathan’s loss actually brought her closer to God. Teresa is on staff at Wayne Hills Baptist Church near Stuart’s Draft, Virginia, serving as a lay counselor and overseeing woman’s ministries.
